The PaleoMoz team is strongly engaged in involving the wider community with the project. PalNiassa paleontologists and students routinely present the project to a broad range of audiences in Mozambique but also abroad by: (i) giving seminars to students, scientists and the general public; (ii) organising science exhibitions and (iii) presenting a stand at scientific conferences and fairs.
The PaleoMoz team also actively promotes their scientific discoveries and the project in the media and social networks, for instance, with educational videos and by speaking to newspapers and TV journalists.

The stand was visited by the President of the Republic of Mozambique Armando Emílio Guebuza.
Finally, the PaleoMoz paleontologists work closely with the local population during their field trips to prospect and collect new fossils. The team is warmly welcomed every year by the residents of Tulo, a small village in Niassa where they set up camp for their expeditions.
